Reaching Out to Inactive Catholics and Those Interested in the Faith
We invite inactive Catholics to return to the Church. Without you, our Catholic community remains incomplete. When you are away, your return brings great joy to God and enriches us. With God’s grace, you can develop a deeper and stronger faith. Even if you do not wish to speak with anyone right now, feel free to join us and pick up a bulletin to learn more about us.
Church Teachings
The Catholic faith has a rich treasury of Scripture and tradition. Even the most learned among us does not know everything. Lifelong Catholics continue to read and to study, and anyone wanting to ‘catch up’ will be right at home with other Catholics. Jesus is "the Way, the Truth and the Life" (John 14:6) and the Church passes on His teachings – to prepare us for eternal life. Yet, it is okay to struggle and question. We invite you to find out more.
Divorce and Remarriage
Can I come back if I am divorced? Yes, you can always come home and share in the life of the parish. Divorce does not exclude anyone from the community. For those who are married or remarried outside the Church or living together before sacramental marriage, the best thing to do is to contact your local priest and to talk about your marital situation.
The Joy of Forgiveness
Sin is forgiven, guilt dissolved and the repentant person is sent away in joy and peace in the Sacrament of Confession (Reconciliation). Please check the bulletin for times.
